Everyone’s looking, but no one’s noticing

2018 – ongoing

Central to my work is an aim to celebrate the overlooked – be it people, places or plants. During a residency in Rotterdam I began to notice trees being pressed into service but then ignored. I now seek out their blooming efforts and give thanks by taking their portrait. They strive in all sorts of places and often I am deeply moved by their efforts.
