For a Peterborough Presents Millfield Link commission I worked closely with three generations of Kursheed Ahmed’s family.

Frustrated by negative perceptions of their community and area, and its subsequent impact, they were determined to tell another story – one that placed respect, family and reciprocity at its heart. In response, inspired by their stories and their front room, I developed a series of collages and two annotated drawings. These were subsequently shown in Peterborough Museum alongside other works made within the community.
