Nothing’s Ever Wasted
2020
Created during the second lockdown, Nothing’s Ever Wasted, builds on ideas inherent in an earlier work: Beauty Cleanses the Mind. Both use photography as a way to capture the empheral then share it more widely. Both works use flowers grown in my garden which are chosen for their hidden meanings within the language of flowers tradition.
The 5 types of pressed and scanned flowers used are:
Love in the Mist – Perplexity
Honeysuckle – Happiness
White Rose – Innocence
Saliva – Health
Hydrangea – Grace
