This project began in 2016 when 14-18 NOW and Henry Moore Institute co-commissioned a new sculpture by Rebecca Warren for The Body Extended: sculpture and prosthetics exhibition. After which I, poet Andy Craven-Griffiths and sculptor Jim Bond, were invited to create opportunities with art teachers, museum staff and students in support of the exhibition. Collectively we engaged over a 1000 young people and worked with 7 Secondary schools and 1 community group – creating textiles, drawings, written and performed poems, films zines and sculptures. To celebrate the work I was also commissioned to curate and design a newspaper, freely distributed, to accompany the project.
